Orchestral Music in the Monmouth Community

The MCO is a young orchestra started Spring 2007 and yet it already has a membership of 45 plus players.   It meets every two weeks on a Friday night from 7.00 to 9.15 pm and it has a regular attendance of some 30 plus musicians.    Our raison d'être is to bring orchestral and ensemble playing to as wide a community of musicians as possible providing musical instruction and encouragement at a pace suited to the level of players within the group.

Orchestral Support

We are always on the look out for new players and would particularly welcome enquiries from string players particularly viola, cello and double bass and in the wind section we are looking for a 3rd Trumpet, a 2nd French Horn and a Tuba player. So dust off that instrument, clean out those pipes and come and join us for an evenings music making at the Monmouth Community Orchestra.
